Kisah Sedekah Tukang Tambal Ban

Seorang tukang tambal ban. 5 Tahun yang lalu seringkali terkena obrakan, sebab tempatnya berada di tepi jalan. Suatu pagi, ada seorang temannya yang mampir ke tempatnya. Ketika sedang asyik berbicara, tiba - tiba seorang pengemis berdiri meminta. Si tukang tambal ban merasa terganggu dengan kehadiran pengemis tersebut. Dia menolaknya dan pengemis itu pun berlalu. Demikian berturut - turut beberapa pengemis selalu ditolaknya.

Kawannya bertanya "Di sini banyak pengemis yang datang ya?"
"Wah, kalau dihitung, sehari bisa puluhan orang. Saya selalu menolak mereka. Buat apa mengajari orang malas." Kata si tukang tambal itu.

Kawannya diam sejenak, lalu berbicara "Kalau boleh menyarankan, sebaiknya jika ada pengemis jangan ditolak. Meskipun seratus perak, berikanlah kepadanya!"

Si tukang tambal ban tersenyum kecut dan menanggapi dengan sikap dingin. "Pengemis sekarang bukanlah orang yang benar - benar miskin. Di daerahnya, mereka memiliki rumah besar, ternak banyak dan sawah luas. Mengemis dibuat sebagai mata pencaharian. Jika menuruti pengemis, bisa bangkrut aku. Sedangkan sejak tadi pagi, tak satupun kendaran yang berhenti untuk mengisi angin ataupun minta tambal."

Abuses Of Drugs

So what is drug abuse? 
Drug abuse is using drugs in ways that will harm our body. Drinking too much alcohol, taking overdose of aspirin and sniffing glue in excessive amounts are some example of drug abuse. Illegal drugs such as ganja and heroin produce serious harmful effects on the body even when taken in small amounts. 
There is 5 main types of drugs :

• Stimulants
• Depressants
• Narcotics
• Hallucinogens
• Inhalants

1. Stimulants

These drugs speed up the processes of the central nervous system. Some people take these to stay awake for long periods or to maintain a level of excitement.

Example of stimulant : Cocaine (Cocaine users can be highly depressed and exhausted when the effects of the drug wear off)

2. Depressants

These drugs slow down the activities of the central nervous system. They are taken to help someone relax or reduce worry. When depressant drugs enter the body, they affect the workings of the brain, resulting in loss of control and poor judgment.

Example of depressants : 

• Barbiturates : An overdose barbiturates, especially taken with alcohol, can lead coma even death
• Tranquilisers

Indonesian Traditional Games

1. Kelereng Or Gundu

       Kelereng, or marbles to the western world, is a favorite with boys. There are many variations of games played with marbles.
One of the more popular versions is that a small circle is drawn on the ground. All the players put one of their marbles within the circle. Then each of the players drops another marble to a point outside of the drawn circle. The player that owns the marble furthest away from the circle is entitled to play first.
He must attempt to use the marble that is outside of the circle (striker) to hit the marbles within the circle and knock them outside of the ring. If he is successful in doing, this he is entitled to keep the marbles that he has knocked out of the circle. The striker marble, however, must also come to rest outside of the drawn circle. If it does not, this marble must remain within the circle and the owner then forfeits this marble.
If the player is successful in knocking one of his opponents' marbles out of the ring, he can continue his turn and try to strike any other opponents. Striker marbles. If he is successful in hitting his opponents. Striker marble, he is entitled to take that marble and his opponent can no longer play the current round. If however he misses his opponents. Striker marble, he loses his turn and the next player can then start to play.

2. Gangsing Or Gasing

This game is normally played by boys. The gangsing is a top made from bamboo with a small opening on the side. This small hole makes the top whistle very distinctively as it spins. The size of the hole determines the pitch of the whistle. String is wound around the dowel that goes through the center of the gangsing .
The child then holds onto the flat bamboo handle that is tied to the end of the string and pulls this handle to set the gangsing spinning. Normally a circle is drawn on the ground about 50 cm. in diameter. Two children play against each other. The object of the game is to try and knock your opponent’s gangsing out of the designated circle. Gangsing are commonly sold outside the temples and tourist attractions in Yogyakarta, Central Java.

So this is my short story writing result. I joined a short story writing contest at my school when i was 7 grader. And alhamdulillah I won the contest

I won the contest, but it wasn't the best, I'm not a professional writer. hehe..

The Magic Colorful Village

Once upon a time, there were two friends named Lisa and Benny. They always play and travel together. One day, they are walking around the forest while looking at the beauty of the forest and talking for each other.” Benny!! Look, there are two big and tall trees, and look at the color, it is colorful. Do you know the name of those trees?” Lisa asked to Benny. “Hmm... I do not know. But, let me think…” Benny starts thinking. Five minutes later “Aha! I remember, but I am not sure.” Benny said. With the curiosity Lisa asked Benny again “So what Benny? Just tell me, I really want to know”. Then Benny tells Lisa “Okay Lisa, as I remembered, peoples name it as Magic Colorful Tree.” Lisa asked again. “Magic Colorful tree? What a weird name. Hmm... Do you want to find out more about the trees?” “Hmm… Okay let’s go” Benny said. Then, they are walking around the trees.” Hey Lisa, what is that big hole?” Benny asked. “Let’s look at the hole nearly” Lisa said. When they look at the hole, suddenly... “Aaaahh!!” Benny and Lisa screamed. They fall down into the very deep and winding hole, and then they arrive at the unknown beautiful place.”What is this place?? This is very beautiful. Am I dreaming?” Lisa asked while confusing. “Wake up Lisa! You aren’t dreaming. It is a really beautiful place that we ever met” Benny said. “Let’s find a village here.” Then, they walk along the street looking for the nearest village at this place. After many hours of their search, finally they found a village. But, the village that they found was destroyed, just like there had been a war between the villages in this village. They are very confused. Luckily, they found a person here. “Excuse me, are you the villager in this village?” Lisa asked to that man. “Yes I am, who are you? I just saw a stranger here.”Said the man. Then, Lisa and Benny tell the man that they fall down from the big, deep and winding hole from a hole near a tree and arrive at here. Then, Lisa and Benny ask him back, where is this? What happen to the village? Then the man tells them about this place. This place’s name is Magic Colorful Village. This place is full of magic. The village was destroyed because of the witch named Victoria with her men were destroyed the village. The villager were be damned by the witch into a mouse field. After they destroy the village they burned the village until run out. The man is the only person which still alive. Lisa and Benny are feeling sad too when they hear the story. Then Benny asks the man that is there any way to erase the condemnation. The man said yes, there is a way to erase the condemnation. The way is by kill the witch with the Silver Dragon Sword. The Silver Dragon Sword is in the Silver Village, the distance is about 100 km from here. Then Benny and Lisa promise to the man that they will erase the condemnation and repair the village.

1. Bebek Yang Bisa Mengapung Di Atas Air

    Bahan - Bahan :

• Gunting
• Kertas
• Minyak kelapa
• Lem
• Kapas

    Cara Membuat :

• Lipat kertas menjadi dua, lalu gambarlah sebuah bebek, lalu gunting
• Bentuk kapas menjadi agak lonjong
• Oleskan minyak kelapa ke bagian bawah kapas
• Tempelkan kertas yang sudah berbentuk bebek ke kapas menggunakan lem (kebagian yang tidak terkena minyak)
• Sekarang, coba simpan di atas air!

2. Jam Matahari (Untuk Menentukan Waktu Sholat)

    Bahan - Bahan :

• Kertas tebal (Ukuran A4/A3)
• Jangka
• Spidol
• Penggaris
• Pensil
• Lilin malam

    Cara Membuat :

• Buat lingkaran di atas kertas
• Buat garis putus - putus yang melintang untuk menunjukan arah utara dan selatan
• Simpan lilin malam persis di tengah - tengah lingkaran. Lalu tancapkan pensil di tengah lilin malam
• Simpan di luar supaya terkena sinar matahri langsung
• Jika pensil itu tidak ada bayangan, tunggu beberapa detik, itulah tandanya waktu zuhur masuk
• Jika bayangan pensil ukurannya sama dengan ukuran tinggi pensil sebenarnya, artinya waktu ashar akan segera tiba. Hanya tinggal menunggu bayangan tersebut melebihi sedikit dari ukuran tinggi pensil

The Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (WWW), the infrastructure to support email, and peer-to-peer networks. The internet is also called Information Superhighway, Cyberspace, the Virtual World or INET

What is network?
Network is a group of computers and associated devices that are connected by communications facilities

The Internet is made up of millions of computers linked together around the world in such a way that information can be exchanged between any computer at any time. The Internet is the transport vehicle for the information stored in files or documents on another computer. The Internet itself doesn't contain information. It is a slight wrong statement to say a "document was found on the Internet " It would be more correct to say it was found through or using the Internet.
