Kisah Sedekah Tukang Tambal Ban

Seorang tukang tambal ban. 5 Tahun yang lalu seringkali terkena obrakan, sebab tempatnya berada di tepi jalan. Suatu pagi, ada seorang temannya yang mampir ke tempatnya. Ketika sedang asyik berbicara, tiba - tiba seorang pengemis berdiri meminta. Si tukang tambal ban merasa terganggu dengan kehadiran pengemis tersebut. Dia menolaknya dan pengemis itu pun berlalu. Demikian berturut - turut beberapa pengemis selalu ditolaknya.

Kawannya bertanya "Di sini banyak pengemis yang datang ya?"
"Wah, kalau dihitung, sehari bisa puluhan orang. Saya selalu menolak mereka. Buat apa mengajari orang malas." Kata si tukang tambal itu.

Kawannya diam sejenak, lalu berbicara "Kalau boleh menyarankan, sebaiknya jika ada pengemis jangan ditolak. Meskipun seratus perak, berikanlah kepadanya!"

Si tukang tambal ban tersenyum kecut dan menanggapi dengan sikap dingin. "Pengemis sekarang bukanlah orang yang benar - benar miskin. Di daerahnya, mereka memiliki rumah besar, ternak banyak dan sawah luas. Mengemis dibuat sebagai mata pencaharian. Jika menuruti pengemis, bisa bangkrut aku. Sedangkan sejak tadi pagi, tak satupun kendaran yang berhenti untuk mengisi angin ataupun minta tambal."

Abuses Of Drugs

So what is drug abuse? 
Drug abuse is using drugs in ways that will harm our body. Drinking too much alcohol, taking overdose of aspirin and sniffing glue in excessive amounts are some example of drug abuse. Illegal drugs such as ganja and heroin produce serious harmful effects on the body even when taken in small amounts. 
There is 5 main types of drugs :

• Stimulants
• Depressants
• Narcotics
• Hallucinogens
• Inhalants

1. Stimulants

These drugs speed up the processes of the central nervous system. Some people take these to stay awake for long periods or to maintain a level of excitement.

Example of stimulant : Cocaine (Cocaine users can be highly depressed and exhausted when the effects of the drug wear off)

2. Depressants

These drugs slow down the activities of the central nervous system. They are taken to help someone relax or reduce worry. When depressant drugs enter the body, they affect the workings of the brain, resulting in loss of control and poor judgment.

Example of depressants : 

• Barbiturates : An overdose barbiturates, especially taken with alcohol, can lead coma even death
