Kebijakan pertama yang dilakukan pemerintah militer Jepang adalah melarang semua rapat dan kegiatan politik. Selain itu, Jepang juga melakukan propaganda untuk menarik simpati bangsa Indonesia dengan :
- Menganggap Jepang sebagai saudara tua
- Melancarkan semboyan 3A (Jepang pemimpin, Jepang cahaya, dan Jepang pelindung Asia)
- Melancarkan simpati lewat pendidikan berbentuk beasiswa pelajar
- Menarik simpati organisasi Islam MIAI
- Melancarkan politik dumping
- Mengajak tokoh - tokoh perjuangan nasional untuk bergarbung, dengan cara membekaskan mereka dari Belanda

Banyak banget yang ngira vokalis A7X ini pita suaranya putus. Padahal, pita suara M. Shadows TIDAK PERNAH PUTUS. Yang ada.. Pembuluh darah di tenggorokannya yang pernah bermasalah, dan beberapa kali pernah di operasi, dan bisa kumat masalahnya. Dan kalo beneran putus pita suaranya, hampir nihil buat ngobatinnya dan bahkan mungkin nggak bisa ngomong lagi. Bener kan guys? So jangan percaya kalau ada yang bilang pita suara M. Shadows putus yaa!
